Kuchipudi is one of the foremost classical dance styles of India, from the South-East Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is known for its graceful movements and its strong narrative / dramatic character. Since childhood, Richa had been fond of learning and enjoying performing arts, especially music and dance. She got basic training in classical vocal and Bharatnatyam, but couldnot pursue it while she studied to become a foreign language expert. But even while working as a Japanese teacher and translator, she attended as many performances and concerts as her hectic schedule permitted. Rajashree’s tryst with performing arts also began in childhood, when she performed in some plays and tele-films. She learned Bharatnatyam in an early age and performed her Arangetram when she was 12. She gave up training in dance and music to become a software professional. Working in an early stage start-up, she experienced the pains and joys of growing a company from close. Long time friends and later family members, Richa Rajadhyax and Rajashree Rajadhyax founded Meetkalakar to return to their love of their childhood – performing arts. In Meetkalakar, the clarity of their roles vanishes when they make an occasional cup of tea together. At other times, Rajashree is the creator of the web-portal and all other applications. Shila Mehta is a Kathak dance artist, choreographer, Performer with over 35 years of experience in her field.She is the founder and Artistic Director of Nupur Zankar Academy of Performing Arts & Research Centre based in Mumbai with other centres at New Jersey -USA, Ghent –Belgium and Swindon – UK. Shila was groomed as Kathak artist under eminent Gurus and Masters including Pt. Prahalad Das, Pt. Vijai Shankar, Pt. Birju Maharaj. She was mentored in Laya asthetics by Pt. SureshTalwalkar. She participated actively in the choreographies of Pt.Chitresh Das and Smt.Kumudini Lakhia. Currently She is working with Dr Kanak Rele on understanding about Abhinaya aesthetics.At a very young age she made her mark in field of art and culture with scintillating performances and novel choreographies bringing a wave of energy, particularly in Gujarati society.

Nisha Parikh, is the founder and creative director of Nitya Rhythm Dance Academy of Wilkes-barre, PA and Flemington, NJ. She studied bharatanatyam under the guidance of Smt. Sudha Shekhar Devulapalli of Kalanjali School of Dance and graduated from Stuti Dance Academy with guru Smt. Parul Dixit. She learned folk dances and bollywood style of dancing from various famous schools in Ahmedabad, India and NJ. At a very young age of 12, she won 1st prize in junior category at the Inter School Garba Competition organized by the Rotary Club and also won the title of the Best Garba Performer in All Ahmedabad Navratri Garba Competition in 1993 organised by the Garvi Gujarati Channel. Nisha has performed at many acclaimed dance shows throughout her dancing career in NJ and NY areas. She has taught bharatanatyam at Stuti Dance Academy, Shiva Shakti temple and Sadhu Vaswani Center in NJ for almost a decade.
