Geet Rung School of Dance and Music provides professional dance classes and specializes in teaching Indian Classical dance KATHAK and Bollywood dance for age groups 4 & up. The state-of-the-art studio is located at Peachtree Inds. Blvd. Suwanee, very easily accessible from neighboring cities such as Johns Creek, Alpahretta, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Flowery Branch. With over 10 yrs of experience in teaching, Geet-Rung is a well known and reputed name in Atlanta. Divya Srivastava, Founder and Director of Geet Rung School of Dance and Music is an artist of unlimited talent and energy, a patient & loving teacher, a skilled choreographer and a revered Guru/mentor. She started learning dance at a very early age and continued her learning from Smt. Shweta Garg a senior disciple of Pt. Shri Giridhari Maharaj of Jaipur Gharana, Jaipur.The Annual Dance Recitals at Infinite Energy Center give each and every student an opportunity to perform. The dance recitals benefit nation wide non profit organization St. Jude Children's Research hospital. Accredited complete Kathak courses are available for those students who wish to achieve diplomas or degrees. In-house certificates also provided after learning of few years. Referrals provided for the good students for their college applications. Geet-Rung provides volunteering opportunities to students that helps them build confidence, leadership and communication skills. GR School of Music offers the musical instruments such as Piano, Drums, Tabla, Guitar, and Voice & Karaoke. All Music teachers at GR are highly qualified and experienced and are pleasure and fun to learn with. Geet-Rung also supports another non profit organization 'Ekal Vidyalaya' and organizes annual Music program to help raise funds to support education for underprivileged children in rural regions of India.
