She has spear-headed unique collaborations and has tried to make Indian classical and semi-classical dance appealing to a diverse set of audiences. She has done several notable collaborations and also have directed home-grown productions under the Takajum banner. She has also choreographed many dance items that have tried to give voice to many of the challenges faced by the world today. Her innovative idea of collaborating with Indian (Kerala) drums and Japanese Taiko Drums (OMNY Taiko group) was very well received. Her team has collaborated with OMNY Taiko at Baruch Performing Arts Center, NY for OMNY's annual concerts and also at Drums along the Hudson festival.
