Nisha Acharya is the artistic director, founder, choreographer, Singer of the Natyakshethra Arts.Nisha has performed in various cultural festivals and Non-Profit fund raising events in Chennai and New Delhi. She started to perform in her very early age of 5. Her passion for her dance has brought her great acclaim accolade during her schooling as well as in her Engineering profession. When Nisha moved to Bay Area years ago, she brought with her the intense, disciplined, meticulous training that was imparted to her from the tutleage, by the grand masters of the Bharata Natyam, Smt Vijayalakshmi Iyengar ,Smt. Subhalakshmi Iyer, Padma Bushan Smt. Alarmel Valli.The school was founded out of her passion towards dance. She aims to give quality teaching to kids in Peninsula and east bay area. Her creative ideas has produced several interesting dance stories. Nisha feels dance not only teaches the art but also dedication, concentration, acting, disciplined and cultural bonding.The school follows the same Mantra.
