Soorya Foundation for performing arts, a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles and Atlanta/Cumming GA was created to preserve, promote and protect Indian traditional performing arts through festivals, classes, productions, workshops, and master classes. Founded by Guru SUSHMA MOHAN - classical dancer, musician, choreographer and yoga practitioner. Learn Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music by trained teachers. Our teachers are available to teach students of all ages and levels in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and online.

Dance Consultant to all dance productions of Soorya Performing Arts, St. Louis and Shanthala Arts Academy Bangalore. First Indian classical dancer to start Indian dance classes at YMCA NJ. Advisory board member to Natya exam board USA and RAGACHITRA New York, Arts producer and non-profit organization. Winner at the National level dance Competition conducted by the Dept. of Youth affairs and sports, Govt of India and awarded the “National Youth Fest Award” at Chennai. Winner of ‘Yuva Pratibha Shodha’ National award at the Mysore Dasara Festival, INDIA. Performances for Hampi UTSAV, TTD Brahmotsavam, ISKCON Rath Yatra, Mysore DASARA, ICCR, Dept of Kannada and Culture Govt of Karnataka INDIA.
