About Newport Avenue Preschool and Kindergarten

We provide an atmosphere that nurtures a love of learning. Our preschool incorporates Language, Math, Science, Creative Arts, Music & Motor skill development in a small-class environment. In addition, we also include weekly theme-based units including hands-on Science experiments, Social Studies, Our Community, Nature, etc. Individual Observation & Assessment is conducted on progress of each child. The Toddler classroom setting is child-centered & developmentally appropriate. They have access to age appropriate toys, books & various other tools to encourage hands-on learning. We emphasize building a consistent, secure, safe & trusting environment for the child through their interaction with our qualified, experienced & caring staff. Toddlers have their own play-yard equipped with toys to encourage gross motor skills. It is covered with soft foam padding for extra safety & comfort.
