Welcome to SwarSaagar. We have been serving the Indian Music community for over a decade. Our organization is Edison's finest. We do not require that you belong to any particular affiliation or possess any previous memberships to join our organization. We are a recipient of the National Merit Award for our unique program. We teach Indian Classical Music namely Hindustani Vocal, Harmonium and Tabla. We are affiliated to Pracheen Kala Kendra, India and offer certification courses in Sangeet Bhusan, Sangeet Visharad and Sangeet Bhaskar. We extend our services in obtaining Certification related to any Indian Instruments and Dances like Kuchipudi, Bharata Natyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kathakali and Manipuri.Guruji with his unparalleled dedication and incessant practice became "SANGEET VISHARAD" in Hindustani vocal in the year 1969.

Shweta is the one of the most distinguished Indian Classical Music teachers in Jersey City, NJ. She specializes in Hindustani Classical Music Lessons, both Vocal and Instrumental. In 2021, Shweta completed her Master of Arts in Performing Arts (Vocal) from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in Surat. Currently, Shweta teaches both Hindustani vocal and keyboard at Sur Sangat to students of all ages and backgrounds. She teaches students both in person and online, and has students from all over the country, including California, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Michigan. Sur Sangat is dedicated to the promotion and propagation of Indian classical arts. As a lifelong learner of the arts, our founder understands the importance of keeping the Indian art styles alive, especially abroad. Art is the foundation of our culture, as it has been kept alive through song, dance, and theater. Our scriptures have placed great importance on the 64 Lalith Kalas, with music, dance, and theater ranking as the highest. They connect us with each other, with nature, with ourselves, and with the divine. With this in mind, Sur Sangat’s mission is to not only spread awareness for the Indian classical arts, but also to teach the next generation, so they can keep the arts alive. Shweta Pandya is a lifelong learner of the Indian classical arts, including Hindustani Sangeet, Bharatanatyam, and Kathak. Shweta Pandya is a singer, performer, and aspiring choreographer located in New Jersey, originally from Detroit, MI. She has been training in the Indian classical arts for over 20 years. Shweta is trained in Hindustani Sangeet (Vocal and Instrumental), Bharatanatyam, and Kathak. In addition to furthering her musical education, Shweta also trained in Kathak under the guidance of Guru Smt. Smruti Vora at Noopur Nritya Academy, Surat. While under her guidance, Shweta completed her Praveshika Purna (Third Year) in Kathak from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.

Since childhood, Richa had been fond of learning and enjoying performing arts, especially music and dance. She got basic training in classical vocal and Bharatnatyam, but couldnot pursue it while she studied to become a foreign language expert. But even while working as a Japanese teacher and translator, she attended as many performances and concerts as her hectic schedule permitted. Rajashree’s tryst with performing arts also began in childhood, when she performed in some plays and tele-films. She learned Bharatnatyam in an early age and performed her Arangetram when she was 12. She gave up training in dance and music to become a software professional. Working in an early stage start-up, she experienced the pains and joys of growing a company from close. Long time friends and later family members, Richa Rajadhyax and Rajashree Rajadhyax founded Meetkalakar to return to their love of their childhood – performing arts. In Meetkalakar, the clarity of their roles vanishes when they make an occasional cup of tea together. At other times, Rajashree is the creator of the web-portal and all other applications. Richa is the builder of member community and a natural networker.
