About this Job
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate caregiver for my 89-year-old father, who has dementia. He is mobile and able to walk on his own, but needs assistance with daily living and gentle reminders.Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible on start/end time)Location: West San Jose (must be able to drive to/from our home)Start date: Right awayResponsibilities include:Reminders and support for daily walks (20 minutes, 3–4 times a day)Medication reminders (2x a day)Assistance with diaper changes and incontinent careLaundry and light housekeepingGrooming and dressing assistancePreparing simple Indian vegetarian mealsProviding companionship and keeping him engagedRequirements:Prior experience caring for seniors with dementiaReliable transportation to our home in West San JoseKind, patient, and trustworthyComfortable preparing vegetarian meals.
