An international musician with high knowledge of the Harmonium (keyboard), Tabla/Dholak (percussion) and some basic knowledge of Western Music, Kirtiker Thaker has taught music to hundreds of students in and around the Chicagoland area from 1977 to the present. He is a disciple of tabla maestro Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri of the prestigious Ali Akbar School of Music and has learned harmonium from Pt. Jagjish Prasad. Teaches in downtown Chicago at Shivalya Hindu Cultural Center and in Oak Brook, IL. Private lessons $40/hour Group lessons $20/hour
