About this Job
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver to provide companionship and daily living support for an elderly couple in their mid–late 70s. Primary responsibilities include offering friendly conversation and engagement, assisting with light household tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying, grocery shopping), preparing or reheating simple meals, and helping with safe mobility around the home. The role also includes gently supporting basic memory and speech exercises for one family member, and providing a calm, reassuring presence throughout the day. The ideal candidate will: - Speak Hindi or Gujarati (preferred) and be familiar with Indian culture and cuisine - Have experience supporting older adults, ideally with some understanding of dementia care - Be patient, attentive, and respectful of privacy and personal dignity - Be able to assist with stairs and light physical support when needed - Have a valid driver’s license for occasional errands or appointments (preferred) - Female caregiver preferred for reasons of comfort and cultural compatibility We offer a warm and welcoming environment, competitive hourly pay ($25–$30/hour), and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of two kind individuals.
