Navrasa Dance was started by Anuya Wagh Mistry, shishya of Vasundhara Sridharan and Priya Balan. It specializes in the Indian classical dance of Bharatnatyam as well as folk dances from all over India. With the blessings of her Gurus and her mission to spread the knowledge, Navrasa Dance has now grown into a thriving group of artists who have been performing in the Chicago land area since its inception. Navrasa Bharatanatyam Dance Academy, teaches the Pandanallore style of dance in the Schaumburg area and provides a unique opportunity for students to learn traditional Bharatanatyam dance.
