Anjaniji is trained in Kathak by Guru Pandit Sundarlaljee Gangani of Jaipur Gharana from India and holds an MA in Kathak dance from M.S. University of Baroda, India. For the past 70 years Anjani has dedicated her heart and soul to the excellence, preservation, and continuation of Classical Kathak Dance in the U.S.A. and internationally. With 8 Grants awarded to Sundar Kala Kendra 5 NEA Grants for Choreography for her dance company Anjani's Kathak Dance of India Anjani was invited as a lead choreographer for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ash- land, Oregon, 2008 season play ‘The Clay Cart’ and guest choreographer for Cirque Du Soleil ‘s Dralion production. Anjaniji is awarded multiple choreography fellow- ships from the National Endowment for the Arts consistently for the past 20 years, the California Arts Council, the Irvine Foundation Dance Maker’s Grant, the City of Los Angeles, and Illinois Arts Council. I just spent the last 5 months living in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan India where I was performing every night at Desert Springs Resort in the Thar Desert. I’ve been in awe of Kalbelia dance since 1999 after seeing the documentary Latcho Drom. The opening scene is in Rajasthan. I toured and performed throughout the USA in 2014 with Suva Devi Kalbelia who is famous for her barrel turns in the film. This year, I got to meet Talab Khan who was the young boy singing in the film. He’s now a grown man. During my 2017 Tour with Rajasthani Caravan, I was awarded by both RANA (Rajasthanis of North America) and ARA (American Rajasthani Association) for my work. Then, in 2018 I became a member of the International Dance Council, CID - UNESCO, the highest level of dance recognition in the world. Regardless, my time in India was unforgettable. I spent my every day with musicians and dancers. It was quite the exciting adventure. Dilip Singh filmed a music video with me and Ashraf Khan Harbha. Prior to teaching and performing Rajasthani dance, Katrina was fully immersed in FCBD(R) Style Bellydance since 1999. This particular style of bellydance is rooted in the dances of the Romany

Sharanya Mukhopadhyay, is a UCLA graduate and a dedicated dancer in the Odissi style. She has started touring regularly in India and has been professionally performing in the USA. Sharanya has been teaching dance for the last few years. She also promotes Odissi by lecturing about this ancient dance form. Classes are held regularly in Southern California, USA for classical as well as fusion and semi-classical styles. Regular classes in Odissi and Fusion (Including Bollywood).

Sraddha Fine Arts was initially set up in Chennai (India) in September 2020 with an aim to impart the art form of Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical Dance of Tamil Nadu) to the next generation of artistes. The school, which has trained many students in India for 3 years, has now newly opened in West Hollywood (Los Angeles) in 2024. The dance lessons are taken by Aparna Jayaram in Kalakshetra style of dance. Students of all ages and levels can enroll for classes. Namaste everyone, Shivalee has trained in the Lucknow Gharana Style of Kathak from a young age under the tutelage of her Guru, Srimati Anuradha Nag, for over 20 years. She has attended regular workshops with the late Pt. Birju Maharajji and Saswati Sen Didi. She has represented Anuradha Didi’s School in the Bay Area, The Tarangini School of Kathak Dance, through various shows including: The Ethnic Dance Festival in San Francisco The International Kathak Festival in Chicago The Indian Music Circle, in Dallas, TX The Festival of the Silk Road Kalamahotsav in the Bay Area to name a few highlights of her many previous and ongoing performances. At Tarangini, Shivalee also regularly assisted in teaching and choreographing for over 10 classes per week. Apart from teaching kathak classes, Shivalee also began studying movement and choreography in 2016 with video production creation presented on Youtube. This work involved creating and working with Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Oddisi, and Salsa dancers. Shivalee also promotes her choreography through workshops and has choreographed for several events. Shivalee is also the recipient of the 2016 Indian Raga Fellowship being the first Kathak dancer to attend. Now married and living in Southern California, Shivalee is embarking on a new journey and starting her own Kathak School with the ongoing guidance of her guru. Kathak has been both a source of constancy in her life and a fueling creative outlet. She hopes to pass on all that her guru has so endearingly taught her and carry this artform forward.
