Hey Aspiring applicants and Parents - I offer comprehensive Test preparation Services for all sections of the ACT and the SAT. I have created a program that is adaptive and based on each student’s unique needs. If implemented in its entirety, my program has yielded an average score increase of 150 points on the SAT and 4 points on the ACT in a 10-week timeframe.In some cases, these numbers are much higher. I have over a decade of experience in this field. In this time, I have guided students through near-impossible situations and helped students receive significant Scholarship money. I have helped many students gain acceptance to dozens of elite schools including Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Michigan, etc. I firmly believe that no hurdle is insurmountable and ,often, it is simply a different approach that does the trick. Further, I offer extensive help with Application essays. I have had many students - with borderline test scores - gain acceptance to top schools based primarily on the strength of their essays. Finally, I offer Admissions Consulting that covers all facets of the Admissions process. I help students identify Colleges that fit their needs best. I search for different ways to lower College tuition, including and beyond scholarships. For example, a little known fact about out-of-state tuition costs is that Colleges will actually negotiate the cost with you- if they perceive you as a unique, excellent candidate. I offer a free consultation, absolutely no strings attached. The tutoring sessions will be Virtual via Zoom/Facetime or in-person. All classes are offered either in a 1-on-1 or small group setting. My rate for 1-on-1 sessions is 73/hour. Group rate for a group of 2 is $51/hour per person and $47/hour for a group of 3. My hours are 2-10pm, 7 days a week. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of this traditional Indian instrument, or an experienced musician looking to improve your skills in the various gharanas of tabla, we have a class for you. Our instructor will guide you through every step of your learning journey, helping you develop your skills and become a proficient tabla player. Pavan Kanekal was raised in California and started learning tabla at the age of 7 from Pt. Rajgopal Kallurkar during a trip to Bangalore. Upon his return, Pavan continued to learn from Shri Abhinay Padhye and Shri Satish Tare in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years. He has attended workshops with accomplished tabla players such as Pt. Anindo Chatterjee, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Shri Anubrata Chatterjee, and more. More recently In 2021, Pavan moved to the Detroit Metro Area. He has continued his passion for tabla by offering classes to students of all ages, while keeping up with his own lessons remotely. Our classes are open to students of all ages and experience levels, and are taught by a seasoned instructor once a week. These classes are held in person and are conducted in a group setting, providing an opportunity for students to learn and grow together. We also offer a one on one orientation class for first time students at a reduced price. Our instructor is highly skilled in the art of classical tabla and has a passion for sharing their knowledge with others. They will guide students through a structured curriculum designed to help them progress at their own pace, while also encouraging creativity and individuality.

At Think4SAT we understand the local student better and are their gateway for best colleges in USA. HISTORY: Think4sat ACT Preparation classes started in 2010 October with 3 students. Quantity has never been our focus, we are all about delivering Quality. Today, around 40-50 students actively participate in our weekly classes. We have been providing ACT instruction from Oct 2010. We have formally prepped hundreds of students for SAT/PSAT/ACT during the past 6 years. We have been providing instruction for the new SAT and PSAT curriculum from July 2015. STATISTICS: Average SAT score improvement of 400 points. Our PSAT students have been awarded the $2,500 National Merit scholarship. This scholarship is awarded only to 2,500 students out of about 1.5M applicants. More than 90% of all our students reached the semifinal stage of the National Merit Scholarship based on their PSAT scores. Average ACT composite score improvement of 5 points. Numerous students with an ACT Composite score of 36, 35, 34, and 33 out of 36 (99.xx percentile). More than 70% of students with an ACT Composite Score of 30/36 (96 percentile) or above and an average score improvement of 5 points. Good SAT, PSAT and ACT scores have enabled many of our students to get admitted topping schools such as Columbia, Northwestern, MIT, University of Michigan, UC Berkley, Wayne State, Michigan State, Cornell, etc. We have at least a good number of students with perfect scores of 36 for ACT and 1600 for SAT; at least 70% students with a score of 30 or higher for ACT and 1400 or higher for SAT. We don't filter incoming students based on their past grades or GPA. All registrations are handled on a first come basis. The following are the guiding principles that Think4SAT abides to and follows when it comes to imparting education: Think4Sat teachers prepare and educate students for the world and not just their curriculum. Tabla Lessons from a Grammy Nominated teacher, John Churchville, who has studied with Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri and Pandit Samar Saha. John has a BFA in World Music Performance from California Institute of the Arts (2001) and his Masters in Music Education from the University of Michigan. Students that study with John also gain exclusive yearly access to lessons from Pandit Samar Saha, student recitals and other performance opportunities. John is also the founder of Sumkali, and Indian Fusion group from Ann Arbor. Students of John's will learn how to play from the Beneres gharana, as well as adapting to fusion music.

Manasi, a widely traveled danseuse, has cultivated a lifelong devotion to Classical Indian Dance. Born and brought up in Balasore, Orissa, she began her training in Odissi dance at the age of five, at the Nrutya Sangeeta Kala Mandira Balasore, under the Guru Deva Prasad Das and Guru Sudhakar Sahu. She earned the degrees 'Nritya Sree' and 'Nritya Visharad'. She also studied 'Sambalpuri' folk dance forms. An MA in History from Utkal University, she obtained the best dancer award several times from Utkal University and won awards for various other performances.

Mike List is a globalized percussionist based out of Metro Detroit playing both western and non-western instruments from around the globe. Mike has performed in a variety of musical settings including rock, jazz, classical, contemporary art music, and world music fusion ensembles. He currently works with the percussion group Rela, world jazz group Inscribe and is a regular performer with Rick Robinson's CutTime Simfonica and the Classical Revolution Detroit series. Mike holds a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in percussion performance from Central Michigan University and has also studied tabla, mbira, and Arabic percussion. Along with performing, Mike teaches privately, accompanies modern dance, and teaches courses on the History of Rock and Roll and World Music.
