Shirlzar has led dance teams to victories in events such Naperville India Day, 3iii, and AIA. They have performed as opening acts for celebrities including Guru Randhawa, Kanika Kapoor, Atif Aslam, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Etc

I-RADHA - Indian Rhythms Arts & Dances Heritage Academy was founded in June 2016 by Ms. Kiran Chouhan in memory of her mother Mrs. Radha Chouhan. Mrs. Radha Chouhan was a great admirer of Indian music and dance and instilled in her daughter a deep love for all creative arts. She was a talented writer and poet herself. Her poems have been used in many dance dramas in India and the US. I-RADHA, a very thoughtful and strategic initiative in the Chicagoland area by Kathak Dance exponent Ms. Kiran Chouhan, is conceived out of her passion for spreading Indian fine arts amongst the diaspora as well as the mainstream lovers of arts and culture. The purpose of I-RADHA is to teach, advance and spread the learnings of the rich Indian heritage that all of us have come to appreciate and emulate in everyday lifestyles all over the world. I-RADHA has a vision to bring back the golden ‘Gurukul’ era with the blessings of all the senior gurus in the field, who are willing to come and teach our students in the Gurukul tradition. I-RADHA plans to incorporate other Indian art and spiritual streams under its umbrella in the near future. At the core of IRADHA values is the desire to achieve maximum participation by the community. Through global collaboration, I-RADHA will strive to keep all events affordable, accessible and value enhancing as well as entertaining. We are affiliated with Prayag Sangit Samiti in Allahabad India and offers a very structured training program for Kathak.

The Nrityodaya Kathak Academy, of Los Angeles, United States of America, established in 1989, is a sanctuary of the arts devoted to preserving the culture of Kathak dance and classical Indian art. The founder and director of the academy, Smt. Bhairavi Kumar, began her formal training in the Institution of Pt Nikhil Gosh under the guidance of Smt. Shivani Pandya, a Ghanda Bhandan shagrid of Pt. Lacchu Maharaji of the Lucknow gharana. Bhairavi Kumar’s training continued under Smt. Uma Dogra, disciple of Pt. Durgalalji of the Jaipur gharana. She has performed in numerous countries including India, Africa, Canada, and throughout the US. Smt. Bhairavi Kumar has been teaching Kathak in and around Los Angeles for over twenty five years and has earned a distinguished reputation as a traditional and dedicated teacher-performer of Kathak amongst her colleagues and pupils. The academy is dedicated to educate, research, and bring diversity to the community through innovating dance and performance. In addition to performances at numerous events and festivals, the Nrityodaya Kathak Academy organizes and produces a bi-annual dance production. The Nrityodaya Kathak Academy has had the honor to host the Legendary Pt Birju Maharji for his 75th anniversary tour, Concert of the Legend, as well as multiple workshops with the legend himself and his prestigious shagirds.
