How You Can Slow The Aging Process
Aging is a natural process and it is quite possible that many of us want to slow down the aging process so that we remain fit and active. While some believe that eating protein to taking a regular whiff of lavender can slow the process of aging, there are others that believe that leading a happy and stress free life helps one grow old slower.
10 ways to slow the aging process:
1) Eat protein rich foods like fish, turkey, egg whites or tofu at each meal; it is advised that you take 1 gram of protein for each kilogram of body weight. Experts feel that these protein rich foods should be low in fat. Protein slows insulin levels that helps avoid weight gain and risk of disease. It also helps promote stable blood sugar levels to reduce stress by keeping pesky stress hormone, cortisol in check.
2) Ease depression and anxiety by taking 100 to 200 milligrams each of vitamins B6 and B12 daily that reduces cortisol and increases the level of serotonin in the body.
3) Talk to your health-care professional and take extracts from the magnolia flower, green tea or milk peptide that are available at your local health food store to ease stress. An alternative method is a massage.
4) Remaining physically active and exercising regularly promotes more growth hormone to remain youthful. Growth hormones promote a better skin, libido, weight gain, muscle mass and energy level.
5) Put lavender in the bath or rub it onto your body and face or tuck a sachet of the dried flower under your pillow; this natural relaxant keeps to keep cortisol levels stable and smells terrific.
6) Take antioxidants vitamins especially those containing vitamins A, C and E and selenium that help to clean off the free radicals. A good health care practitioner would help you make the right choice of multivitamins; however avoid taking any of these pills if you are on blood thinners.

7) Slow down the aging process by getting 9 hours of sleep every night; your body would be able to repair itself in deep and restful sleep and is able to produce growth hormone. Lack of sleep also adds to stress.
8) Aging can be slowed down when we increase the strength of our immune system; this can be accomplished by take supplements such as plant sterinols, olive extract (a natural antiviral), zinc and denatured whey.
9) Delay aging by dealing with wear and tear on the body by taking supplements like glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, MSM and hyaluronic acid that enhance the production of elastin and collagen.
10) Last but most important relax and smile a lot; stress wrecks the body, so take care to not sweat the small stuff.
I am sure you can slow the process of aging by these 10 ways. Do come back with your feedback and congratulate me if they really work.
Good Luck!
