I am a solo parent to two delightful children (ages 2 and 4) seeking a live-in family assistant / mother’s helper to join our home in a mutually supportive, respectful way. We are a calm, values-driven household that emphasizes kindness, emotional attunement, gentle communication, creativity, and healthy daily routines. I am an engaged and present parent and will be home most of the time. This is a collaborative role, not solo childcare. Role (approx. 40–45 hrs/week): • Creative play and care for two young children • Housekeeping and household organization • Simple, healthy meal preparation • Supporting a calm, predictable daily rhythm What’s offered: • Monthly stipend (competitive with au pair arrangements) • Private room, utilities, Wi-Fi, semi-private bathroom • Respect for your rest, personal time, and independence • Shared meals (optional) • Opportunity to travel with our family (by discussion) Good fit: Someone calm, healthy, reliable, emotionally mature, and genuinely comfortable around young children. Interest in co-learning about positive discipline, gentle parenting, Montessori-at-home, unschooling, educaring parenting, unconditional parenting, or nonviolent communication is a plus.
