Moving in the Spirit is an award-winning creative youth development program that uses dance to teach young people the social, emotional, and cognitive skills they need to thrive.At Moving in the Spirit’s Summer Dance Camp, boys and girls ages 7-13 build confidence, community, and creativity while learning choreography from various genres and styles of dance:Creative Dance Contemporary Dance. At the end of Week 2, students who participate in the full two weeks of camp will perform a special showing for family and friends. Jazz, Hip-Hop, Fusion. Dancers will also explore the elements of dance-building, collaborating with teaching artists and peers to create their own unique choreography.Engaging workshops on health and wellness, life and leadership skills, and literacy complete the camp experience. Games and art are also part of the fun!
Summer Dance Programs offer a variety of dance classes for dancers at beginner and intermediate levels. Students enjoy ballet technique classes Monday through Friday with opportunities to explore other dance styles and genres. Past sessions have offered pre-pointe/pointe, variations, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, musical theatre, choreography, international dance styles, and nutrition.Creative Movement classes introduce your child to dance while developing body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. The class will meet for 8 consecutive weeks. These classes are designed for the student based on their age. Each class meets for 45 minutes each week. The age requirement is based on the student’s age as of June 7, 2025.Each week-long program is built around a story ballet theme. Students will also explore different dance genres such as tap and jazz, as well as express creativity through arts & crafts. Classes meet M – F from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Dive into art this summer at the High! Young artists will explore the museum’s galleries, learn about the museum’s collection and special exhibitions, and hone their skills in drawing, painting, and design to create original artworks.Professional teaching artists will inspire your child to look closely, experiment with materials, and try new techniques. Our weeklong camps are designed to serve rising kindergartners through eighth graders.
On behalf of the girls lacrosse program at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, we would like to invite you to participate in our summer camp for rising 2nd-8th graders.Our camp is specifically designed to not only enhance previously learned skills, but to teach new campers about lacrosse for the first time. We have something for everyone!Our staff will provide players of all positions and ability levels the opportunity to improve and refine each facet of their game, from teaching fundamental skills to promoting championship habits, all in a fun and fast-moving environment. Our enriching 11-weeks of camp runs from May 27th through August 8th , 9:30am-3:00pm. From Monday to Friday, campers (ages 5-14) will be guided by experienced instructors who will lead them in various creative techniques based on each week’s unique theme. At the end of every week, on Friday afternoon, our campers will proudly display their artistic achievements in our Hallway Gallery to showcase and share their creative journey with you. This year, we’re thrilled to present an array of captivating weekly themes designed to ignite the creativity of our young campers. Within these immersive art camps, campers will not only explore the world of art and design but also gain insights into the fundamental elements that shape them. Campers will have class with one dedicated instructor in the morning, break for lunch and outdoor time, then have class with another skilled instructor in the afternoon, ensuring a dynamic and enriching experience.
Fabricate Studios offers weeklong beginner and intermediate friendly Summer Camps. In the Sewing Summer Camps, students will learn to use a sewing machine and make multiple projects that they can show off to friends and family. All new 2025 projects have been selected and each week has a different theme — check out the Upcoming Dates tab to learn more about what we’re working on each week of camp. At Fabricate Studios, our expertise is teaching and we’re committed to this mission by completely eliminating retail from our facility; we are strictly an educational space. This means that our studio is closed to the public and students will have the instructor’s complete attention during camp sessions.
