The goal is to help patients retain and improve the skills and abilities they regained through formal rehab therapy to prevent their decline. The Restorative Nursing Program may include nursing interventions that promote: range of motion, bed mobility, transfer training, walking, feeding, dressing and grooming, communication, splint or brace assistance, and amputation/prosthetic care.
