KinderHaus admits children on a nondiscriminatory basis, without regard to race, creed, gender, physical challenges, religion or national origin. If no space is available for your child's age group, your child's name is put on a waiting list and the Director or Assistant Director will call you as space becomes available. Thank you for your interest in KinderHaus Child Development Center in Washington, DC. In 1991, our Chevy Chase site opened with 5 children and 2 staff members. Five years later Chevy Chase was at full capacity; 25 children, 7 staff members and a very long wait list. Due to the need to serve the community, our Cleveland Park site was established in 1996. To date, our Cleveland Park site serves 54 children with 15 staff members and a wait list as well.
