Carmen s Pride & Joy (CPJ) is a high-quality licensed Family Child Care Facility located in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, DC. We are a private early child development program serving children ages six weeks to twelve years (6 weeks 12 years) in age. Carmen Jones, a native Washingtonian is the owner/Director of Carmen s Pride and Joy (CPJ) family child care in home facility. Mrs. Jones who worked in the Federal government for over 35 years, desired to switch careers as a Director to pursue her dream to teach and become a business owner of a childcare facility. She believes that children should be provided with a high quality, safe, warm and nurturing environment. Currently, Mrs. Jones holds an Associates in Arts Business Administration and a Bachelor s of Science Business Administration; minor Marketing from Strayer University. She is pursuing an Associates in Early Childhood
