About Washington Care Services

Washington Care Services first opened in 1959. Throughout our history, services have reflected the needs of our community. The first of our family owners was Don Watkins who sold the operations to Carolyn and Leo Pavlov. The Pavlov s sold their company to Dan and Dee Humphrey in 1986. Washington Care Services acquired its non-profit 501 C3 status in 2006. Our warm and welcoming staff are committed to making our residents feel at home, whether they are here for a week or years. Group and individual activities, designed to entertain and stimulate, include; art, music, dance programs, pet visits with our therapy dogs, and much more. Our Homeward Bound program is designed to return residents safely back into the community or successfully help them adjust to our long-term care programs.
