This post is about the promise to open a 1000 daycares this year. The Math isn’t Mathing Whitmer!! Good try. December 2022 total programs were 7922 increased to 7933 in November 2023… that’s 11 once you subtract the licenses that have closed! And to count the programs that received the ammended licenses is asinine. Amended licenses she is counting are those of us that received variances to allow extra children.
