Pathways Preschool arose out of the collaborative energy of Dan and Brittni Fuller. Their experience, insights, and understanding of the developing mind combined with their capacity to reflect on their practice led them to develop a way of being with children that was grounded in developmental theory and neuroscience, while addressing an ancient need for connection. In 2012, after six years of being together, Dan and Brittni bought a house in Traverse City, got married, and started Pathways Preschool. After three years of operating a home-based child development center, Dan and Brittni relocated to a building on Rose Street, a former United Auto Workers Hall. The building was renovated and the parking lot was transformed into an outdoor learning space. Pathways Preschool represents more than a child development center.
