Kensington Kids Early Learning Centre is a non-profit community based childcare centre. The centre has been an integral part of the Kensington community since 1983, providing educational childcare for children ages 0-6 years of age. Our programs are dedicated to creating the right balance of play-based learning and nurturing care for the children. Our educators facilitate growth and development in a diverse, multi-cultural environment, showcasing inclusivity in the ever-changing world around us.We are located in Kensington Community School, jus east of College and Bathurst area of downtown Toronto. The centre is a non-profit corporation which is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of both parents and dedicated community members.We serve full fee and subsidized families. The Centre is licensed by the Ministry of Education under the Child Care and Early Years Act. The centre also has a purchase of service agreement with the City of Toronto.

SimplySmart Child Care Centre & Montessori is a Canadian early childhood education provider founded in 2012 by Harleen Laroia. Ms Maricela has worked for leading Montessori Schools for 22 years and decided to start her own school because she believed that every childcare program must put the child’s interest first. Her passion for Montessori education and desire to run a quality program gave birth to Waverley Road Montessori.Ms Maricela leads the team of teachers and guides them in the smooth functioning of their classrooms and the school as a whole to provide a high-quality program. Her expertise lies in applying the Montessori philosophy: respect for the individual, community, and environment. She has worked in inclusive, diverse environments intellectually, socially, culturally, and socio-economically. She has held positions that utilize leadership, strategic planning, staff training, curriculum analysis and development. Ms Maricela is committed to cultivating Montessori values to meet student needs and inspire learning in the Waverley Road Montessori School community.
