Summer CampDay Care Center
Your baby will be safety nestled in loving arms within a nurturing environment that allows them to develop foundational physical skills and emotional connections while building new relationships with teachers and friends. Your child will learn skills like: Forming and maintaining a secure attachment to a parent or caregiver. Using their senses to investigate the world around them. Making simple vocal sounds and movements to express themselves.
Toddler program (12 Months to 24 Months)In our toddler classroom, children develop their independence through fun learning experiences as they build valuable skills they need to interact with the world around them. Caring, patient teachers guide toddlers through exploration while helping to establish crucial social-emotional skills. Your child will also learn skills like: Singing or reciting a song or rhyme. Demonstrating an understanding of positional words, and simple one- or two-step directions. Participating in simple, short, back and forth conversational exchanges. Reacting with appropriate social and emotional responses to what’s happening in their learning environment. Controlling their body movements during play and other tasks.
Primary Preschool program (2 Years to 3 Years)The preschool program introduces your child to a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in more structured ways. In the preschool classroom, caring and compassionate teachers help your little one turn everyday experiences into fun, educational opportunities. Your child will also learn skills like: Verbally counting to 10, counting items they select and learning the difference between numeracy and counting. Building their vocabularies and expanding their language skills by using words to refer to and describe familiar people, animals, objects and situations. Engaging in imaginative play and using props to learn about the dramatic arts. Understanding turn-taking, developing the capacity to wait and communicating to others when it is their turn. Playing cooperatively with or near a small group of children and forming unique, authentic friendships.

Geetha is one of the onsite owners of The Goddard School located in Brentwood, CA. Geetha and her husband, Ganesh have a daughter and also have a Labrador Retriever, Charlie. As owners, we recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Here at The Goddard School, we are dedicated to providing that utmost quality of care and education to the children in our community. I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful school. During her spare time, Geetha enjoys gardening and hiking.
Danyel has worked with children since 1998. She holds a Certificate in Early Childhood Education as a Site Supervisor and is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Born and raised in Sacramento, CA. She attended private school where she worked as a volunteer in the nursery daycare center. While in high school she worked with children and focused on becoming an early childhood educator. She brings twenty-two years of early childhood experience, track record and praise from previous directors. She has experience working in two preschool systems - Montessori and Reggio Emilia approach. She is super excited to educate children and that is why she came to the Goddard Schools. She is ready to go above and beyond to help families reach their educational developmental goals. Danyel lives with her eight-year-old daughter Amadi, who is in the third grade.
Rated 5.0 The Goddard school is amazing! My wife and I are very pleased with the attention and care our son receives from his teacher and staff members. The school's curriculum aims focus on fundamental educational sources and on the development of a child’s social, emotional, cognitive, sensory/motor skills, and physical needs which sets a solid and broad foundation for a child's lifelong learning experience and wellbeing. We have no doubt that our child is receiving the best quality care in a loving, engaged, supportive and safe environment.
Rated 5.0 My Baby has been going to Goddard school for almost 6 months now, we are very happy with the school program. Site owner Geetha is very professional and always available for any questions or help. My son got very attached to all the teachers, it is a big relief to me. Ayisha and other teachers in Infant program are very caring and has good experience in taking care of infants and understanding each baby dynamics. In total we are very happy in enrolling our kid in Goddard school. We highly recommend this school to any parent. Infrastructure and facilities are very good and safe.
Rated 5.0 I highly recommend The Goddard School!! My husband and I are so happy to see our daughter get excited to go to school every morning. The teachers and care takers at Goddard are professionals, kind and caring. They are amazing!! The curriculum is engaging, fun, and hands-on. My daughter has attended Goddard for over 5 months now and I watched her language develop. I know she is safe and having fun with friends and can trust the teachers at Goddard. I also love the tadpoles app, where I receive pictures and videos of my daughter having fun at school. Thank you to all the wonderful teachers and staff for taking good care of my little one.
Rated 5.0 My son has been enrolled in this school since it opened. They have a wonderful staff and my son is learning great social skills as well as education in math and science thru fun activities. I have to give a big round of applause to the owner Geetha for putting a staff together that puts the childs well being above anything else. If you are looking for a great preschool look no further this is definatley the place.
Rated 5.0 My two children (2 and 1 year old) are attending this school. Geetha (Owner) and her husband are always kind, fun and very helpful (my kids love them) and teachers are sweet, professional. This school is new so all kids furniture's, materials, playground are brand new. Very clean, good security system as well. We're so happy with The Goddard School.
