About Carrollwood Day School

Carrollwood Day School is a non-sectarian, co-educational, independent day school for students in preschool through high school. The curriculum for Carrollwood Day School follows the guidelines established by the prestigious International Baccalaureate Organization. CDS was the sixth school in the U.S. authorized to offer all three levels of the IB Programme. Known for academic excellence with emphasis on development of moral and performance character, CDS prepares students to be the future leaders of a global society. CDS uses state-of-the-art technology, including a one-to-one laptop/iPad program beginning in grade 4, to enhance learning while equipping students with the skills they will need to succeed in the 21st century. The school also offers an extensive fine arts program and fields more than 30 competitive athletic teams.
