After having taught several years of College English in Madras, I moved to NJ where I did my doctorate in education, taught part time in a college (almost ten years), tutored SAT (Reading-Writing) and English Language Arts Enrichment (almost eleven years), and am a public school teacher (almost fifteen years). I am certified in Elementary Ed, English Ed (K-12, with a Certificate of Excellence from ETS), Reading Instruction, Reading Specialist, Supervisor. I have a strong command of English, of reading and academic writing skills, of grammar, and of instructional strategies. All my teaching strategies and plans are based on the idea of continuous learning. Therefore, homework is an integral part of my strategies. I have tutored at my home, and at homes of tutees (for a higher fee, depending on 0-5 miles, 5-10 miles from my home). You dream of academic success. I help you make it happen.
