About Shamrock Montessori Preschool

Shamrock Montessori Preschool located at the entrance to the beautiful Oakland park which is surrounded by oak trees, ponds, evergreens, wildflowers and of course, a very attractive playground. Shamrock Montessori follows Maria Montessori's method which is a multi-sensorial approach to education. Maria Montessori was born in Italy in 1870 and although she started her career as a physician, she spent most of her life working with children. First with special needs children, where she obtained spectacular results and came to the conclusion that even greater results could be achieved with every child. From there, her methods took off and she traveled around the world giving lectures and training teachers.
