About Senior Care Volunteer Network

our not-for-profit program has served all seniors, age 60 and over, who live in McHenry County or Sun City Huntley. Our mission is to help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by remaining in their own homes or the home of a loved one for as long as possible. Volunteers help us achieve our mission by providing services such as transportation to life critical, life-sustaining as well as life-enriching destinations, friendly visits, minor home repairs, yard work, and shopping all at absolutely no charge to the senior. In our last fiscal year, volunteers drove more than 164,000 miles, and dedicated 18,054 volunteer hours to assist more than 1177 local seniors. Our services saved seniors and their families $444,420.
