About Mother's Place

Mother's Place Discipline Policy is based on creating a positive self-image in our children. We do this by providing positive reinforcement for appropriate behavior and by using constructive motivation. The purpose of all disciplineis to help the child develop inner self-control, acceptable behavior, and respect for others. When problems arise, children are encouraged to solve their own problems verbally. Teachers will intervene to help by offering problem solving alternatives when necessary or with pre-verbal children.Our Teachers are our greatest asset and are what makes Mother's Place so special! We set our teacher-to-child ratios low so that staff can give children the individual attention they deserve. Our teachers follow children's development closely and meet regularly with parents both informally and in formal conferences to share their observations.
