Good Shepherd Day Care Centre believes that children are competent, capable, and curious and have great potential. We strives to provide a positive, nurturing and inclusive play based learning environment consisting of children, staff and families that work together for the holistic development of the child. This program statement is consistent with the Ministry s policy statement on programming and pedagogy and will be reviewed annually. Under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA), the centre is committed to using How Does Learning Happen? Ontario s pedagogy for the Early Years (2014).
