About Montessori Services

Montessori Services was founded by Jane Mills Campbell, an AMI-trained Primary Montessori teacher, in her home in Pennsylvania in 1976 after the birth of her first child. We specialize in Practical Life materials (materials for cooking, cleaning up, gardening, woodworking, sewing, etc.). Most of our items are child-size and/or enhance areas of the early childhood environment. Our main sales vehicle is a catalog but we do have a Showroom open to the public in Santa Rosa, CA. The mission of Montessori Services is to support schools and families in the implementation of the ideas and principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, which provide for the full development of each human being, leading to the possibility of creating a more peaceful world.
