About Sand Hills Preschool

Here at Sand Hills Preschool, we believe that children learn in many ways, in both structured activities and through play. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children. It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child s cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, spiritual and creative development. Within each classroom s daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, to explore the environment, to learn problem-solving and personal interaction skills and to learn concepts in a hands-on environment. It is our belief that children learn best through a balance of self and teacher-directed activities. Opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities are provided.
