We implement The Creative Curriculum in all of our classrooms from Infant to Preschool. The Creative Curriculum is a teaching tool that is based on five fundamental principles. These principals assist the teachers in the following areas of development in order to create a cohesive, developmentally appropriate, and emotionally sound relationship with each child. Each classroom at Sunnyside follows a daily plan that incorporates a variety of components, which involve whole group, small groups, or individual participation. We design the day to be a balance between structured activities and free choice.
