Glen Park Preschool provides a warm and safe environment where children ages 2-6 can develop cognitively, emotionally, physically and socially. We offer an educational environment and developmentally appropriate experiences. Children are encouraged to be involved in first hand opportunities and experiences for self discovery and self exploration. They are also encouraged to explore the world around them through teacher directed activities as well as free play. Our curriculum is a combination Reggio Emilia, Learning through Play, and Preschool Learning Foundations following the California department of Education preschool program curriculum requirements. Daily lesson plans are introduced using structured themes with the children s interests in mind. Children are given opportunities to learn about themselves through play, interactions with others while engaging in activities.
