City Tree Christian School. Working with children is so much like building a house. The early years are the time we lay the foundation for the future. Jesus reminds us, when He tells the story of the wise and foolish builders, that we should, "Dig deep and lay that foundation on rock." We, as educators and parents, need to be mindful of the foundation we are laying for our children. There is no better foundation for the lives of our children than one built solidly on Jesus Christ. Laying this solid foundation is hard work, and it takes parents and schools prayerfully working together. I am thankful that God has entrusted me with a part of the building process that is happening daily at City Tree Christian School.
