At Rohan Woods, we are proud to say we are a school where leadership and academics meet. With one classroom per grade and a small, yet diverse, community of families, we can say with utmost confidence that your child will be truly known here. Our students excel because we encourage them to learn and grow not just by thinking but by doing. Positive peer pressure encourages each child to be his or her best, to make the choices and exhibit the behaviors of a leader. Age-appropriate leadership skills can be seen every day at Rohan Woods. Beginning with our youngest students in the Early Childhood room and culminating with our Sixth Grade Leadership projects.
Within the close-knit community of Rohan Woods School, our youngest students (aged two to four) are cherished by everyone. Our children work with interest and focus, developing self-confidence, independence and a life-long love of learning.
Pre K and Kindergarten program (6 Years to 7 Years)Organizational and test taking skills are incorporated into the curriculum along with foundational study skills. Personal responsibility is stressed as students begin to take ownership of their learning and choices. Creating leaders in the classroom and leaders of the future is an important step towards independence and becoming an active member in the school community. Many aspects of our Primary program contribute to the creation of a caring community that makes Rohan Woods School such a special place.
