Children of the Cross Preschool is a ministry and outreach hosted by Lutheran Church of the Cross, and is in session from September to May, operating weekly Monday to Thursday from 9am to 12:30pm (3 yrs.) and 2pm (4 yrs.). Through a developmentally appropriate curriculum, children grow socially, physically, cognitively, and spiritually. Daily, weekly, and monthly themes provide students the foundation needed in order to enter Kindergarten at the appropriate time. A Christian curriculum and weekly chapel services provide the spiritual basis for our school. Children of the Cross has a policy of open enrollment, i.e. we accept students at any time through the school year. We also welcome students with late birthdays. Through Children of the Cross Preschool, LCC hopes to continue to develop a positive relationship with the community of Montgomery County, Maryland.
