About Ridgeway Nursery School and Kindergarten

Ridgeway Nursery School and Kindergarten was established in 1972 as an outreach of the Ridgeway Alliance Church to the community. We are a non-for-profit school welcoming children of all races, creeds and ethnic origins. The aim of the early childhood program is to help each child gain a positive self-image while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual development. The environment is child-centered, where a wide range of experiences are available to stimulate curiosity and development at various levels. Children grow best when they meet with success in an environment designed for appropriate learning. We recognize play and direct exploration as basic learning tools for early childhood learners.
