About Richmond Waldorf School

Richmond Waldorf School is a place where all children flourish, and especially those who march to the beat of a different drummer. Our pre-K-Grade 8 education provides children with an unhurried environment, and nurtures imagination and creativity balanced with academic rigor. Students benefit from classrooms of only 12 -16 students, guided by teachers who progress through the grades with their class to foster a strong student-teacher-parent partnership. Our campus features a gymnasium, stage, two playgrounds, spacious classrooms, and a large library. We often host events to demonstrate to our students the importance of being part of a larger community.
