About Freetown Friends School

Freetown Friends is a small, home-based morning preschool located in Reston, VA. In 2004 I opened the doors for my unique preschool program for children 18 months to 3 years old. I offer a structured yet flexible daily routine in a friendly, loving, and encouraging environment. I work with the children to discover their uniqueness and individuality, and to help them learn positive interaction and communication with others. I accomplish this in an environment that includes supervised free play, art, music, stories, and outdoor play. My area includes a large, brightly furnished indoor playroom as well as a large, and fenced in, outdoor area with playground. The children share age-appropriate experiences in a guided play-based curriculum.
