About this Job
I'm looking for a compassionate and caring caregiver who ideally can speak Hindi or Gujarati and is fluent in English to provide hands-on care for my father in his 80s. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping and meal preparation. If you are able to cook Indian food, that would be ideal. We might ask you to run errands including taking him to doctor's appointments and to assist with some medication management. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. The hourly rate will depend on experience. This is not a live-in situation. The hours are somewhat flexible but below are some options. If you cannot do these exact hours but can work close to these hours, it would be worth discussing: Saturdays 8 - 5 p.m. or 8:30 - 5:30 p.m. or 4 - 9 p.m. AND/OR Sundays 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or 4 - 9 pm
