Since 1969, Monmouth Day Care Center has been committed to the idea that regardless of race, religion or socio-economic background, all children have a fundamental right to quality education. Monmouth Day Care Center’s educational philosophy and curriculum are derived from Developmentally Appropriate Practice and the whole child philosophy, both of which are based on the belief that a child’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development are of equal importance. We believe that children learn best when actively engaged in their environment, and so our curriculum allows for hands-on learning, group and individual play, and integrated educational experiences that encourage children to discover connections between various subjects.
