Sequoia Day Care Center is a unique and widely lauded educational method, created more than a century ago by an Italian physician and education visionary, Maria Montessori. The philosophy is built around the concepts of self-directed learning, mixed age level classrooms, collaboration, creativity and social responsibility. Montessori schools are found all over the world. In addition to the Montessori classroom activities our children also have enrichment classes available to them which include, music, art, yoga, Spanish, organic gardening and cooking.
