About Shalom Day Care

Shalom Day Care provides a warm accepting environment where the children may grow at their own pace, develop their own identity and experience relationships with both children and adults. Since children learn best through repeated hands-on experiences, i.e. touching, seeing, smelling, tasting, exploring and experimenting , our goal is to provide this multi-sensory environment for them by integrating mathematics, science, language, arts and social studies into their daily play activities. Every attempt is made to know the children as individuals. We use observation and interaction to assess their needs and plan for their growth within the program.
