Medical Laboratory Review Classes. Prof. Arvind H. Patel earned his B.Sc. (Microbiology) and M.Sc. (Microbiology), proving as a scholar from Gujarat University, India. Later, he joined the Department of Biochemistry of M.S. University of Baroda that generated great teachers and scientists (headed by a world-renowned biochemist and father of Nobel Laureate Venkatraman Ramakrishnan) as a research student in order to pursue his Ph.D. It assisted him in mastering teaching techniques in order to sharpen students’ knowledge in a particular discipline. After a year of research, he changed his mind and founded “Baroda Institute of Science” to offer a certificate course in Medical Laboratory Technology in Vadodara, India. With the combined efforts of Dr. Paresh Soni, M.D. and much hard-work, the institute became the key center for the Medical Laboratory Technology Program in the state of Gujarat, India. Prof.Patel decided to enroll for a certificate course in Clinical Laboratory Science at UMDNJ - SHRP (now Rutgers - Newark, New Jersey) and completed it in 1996 with an excellent GPA. Furthermore, Prof. Patel started his career as a successful microbiology instructor for nursing students at several community colleges for more than 15 years and as a blood bank technologist in hospitals for over 15 years in northern New Jersey. Offers tutoring in microbiology for nursing students only at office location. This service will be available throughout the year by appointment only.
