About North Shore Montessori Schools

The North Shore Montessori Schools (Deerfield Montessori School, Glenview Montessori School and Riverwoods Montessori School) are among a select few schools in Illinois that are nationally accredited by the American Montessori Society in recognition of the highest level of excellence. The Riverwoods Montessori School opened in 1986 and was later expanded on a beautiful property across the street from Ryerson Nature Preserve in Riverwoods. Programs for Infants, Toddlers/2 year olds and 3-6 year olds are offered year around. Additionally, the campus is the home of our Elementary School where children from 6-12 years of age attend.
