The first few years of your child s life is a time of magic and wonder. Daily, parents observe how each moment of their children s exploration and play is another opportunity for learning and growth. Our child s young brain is developing by leaps and bounds. Research shows that the majority of our children s neural connections are formed before they graduate kindergarten. With this knowledge we envisioned and created the Preschool of the Arts and in September 2000, Preschool of the Arts opened its doors for the first time in the East Village. We chose the Reggio Emilia philosophy to nurture and enhance the boundless potential of the early childhood years. We eagerly look forward to sharing our journey with you as we continue to grow our POTA family.
