Queen s Park Preschool offers a play-based preschool program. Our teachers act as facilitators of play, promoting positive interactions with peers, and offering gentle guidance when necessary. They strive to provide a safe, nurturing, accepting, environment which encourages spontaneous play and fosters self-esteem. Open-ended materials, creative spaces and unique experiences, are made available so that the children can learn and be curious about the world around them. As much as possible, the program is child-centered and grows out of the children s interests and abilities.
