About Barrhaven Nursery School

The Nursery School is a part-time program for preschool children, with a focus on social/emotional development in a group. The children attend from mid-September to mid-June on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are licensed to accommodate sixteen children in the morning class, aged 2 and older, and sixteen children in the afternoon class, aged three and older. There are two Early Childhood Educators with each class. As well as indoor play, the program includes snack, circle time (stories and songs in a small group) and outdoor play, in our fenced in playground.
